I am based in New Haven, Connecticut and divide my time between studio work, teaching, and furiously brainstorming ideas for conceptual photos for a variety of editorial and commercial clients. In 2007, I accepted my first editorial job with the New York Times Magazine, creating weekly photographs to illustrate "The Medium" column. Since beginning this career, I've been commissioned to create over 400 photographs for various publications (client list), including dozens of covers (gallery).
I received a B.A. in Psychology from Cornell University, and an M.F.A. in Photography from the Hartford Art School. I have since taught photography at a number of institutions, and am currently teaching at Southern Connecticut State University and the ACES Educational Center for the Arts.
I've had the pleasure of exhibiting my artwork internationally at venues such the Center for Fine Art Photography, Panopticon Gallery, Real Art Ways, and many others. Click here for my most recent work.
